“LIBERTY MOUNTAIN” Performance on July 21st

WANT TO BE A PART OF KINGS MOUNTAIN HISTORY?
YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN US AND LEARN ABOUT “LIBERTY MOUNTAIN”!

On July 21st at 7 PM, the Joy Performance Center will host an informational meeting about the Kings Mountain Little Theatre production of “Liberty Mountain”, a new play about the Battle of Kings Mountain. Playwright, Robert Inman and Director Caleb Sigmon will be on hand to answer questions about the production. The Battle Drama Committee will update attendees about the plans for the “World Premiere” in October and the first summer productions slated for opening on June 26, 2015. This meeting will be of particular interest to our community civic organizations, area businesses, and our local community leaders. If you are unable to attend and would like information, please contact me at
jimchampion@carolina.rr.com or on my cell, 704-692-2897.
Note from Loretta Husky Cozart:
State Vice-Chairman, Daniel Boon Trail Celebration
I do hope you can attend this meeting…. I believe the DAR Chapter should show interest and be on hand to hear more about this new initiative to educate folks about the Battle of Kings Mountain.  I’m copying Doyle Campbell, as well, so he can share with the SAR and Brigade of Friends.

Let’s fill those seats and show Writer Bob Inman and Director Caleb Sigmon that the folks of the area do passionately care about this important part of OUR history.
