North Carolina Daughters are going to help celebrate 125 years of dedication and service to America.

North Carolina Daughters are going to help celebrate 125 years of dedication and service to America. We are going to Washington, DC, to the 124th Continental Congress. One of the largest delegations from NC will be at Congress this June to witness the newly elected NC State Regent and Vice Regent being installed. We will be there to support our own current State Regent Peggy Troxell as she runs for the office of Vice President General.

Bus Trips!!! Please consider being a part of the fun and fellowship by joining all the other DAR Daughters who are traveling together. There are a few seats left on the two buses chartered for your convenience. Contact the NC Bus Chair Carolyn Borman soon to be a part of these trips. 828-697-7364 OR ccborman@att.net

The eight-day trip (June 22-29) leaves from Asheville and continues across the state picking up ladies at three more stops. This trip will give you time to take in all the DAR events plus time for sightseeing earlier in the week. This trip allows time on Sunday to attend the Memorial and Installation Services and then a leisurely return trip on Monday. The hotel for this package is the JW Marriott.

The four-day trip (June 25-28) leaves from the Wilmington area stopping at three places up I-40 and I-95. This bus will arrive at Congress in time for you to attend the Thursday evening Education Night Ceremony and returns to NC after the Memorial and Installation Services on Sunday. The hotel for this package is the Marriott at Metro Center.

E-mail Jackie Craft to send you the necessary forms to fill out for Continental Congress. craftusa2@gmail.com
