Great News! We have attained the
Bronze Level in 2014 for “Spread the American Spirit” magazine subscription
contest. Two years in a row! Special ribbons will be attached to badges of the
ladies attending Continental Congress in June.

Question at the March meeting was “Which branch of Congress is designated by
the Constitution as having the ‘power of the purse’? The winner was Ella Ruth Maugans with the
answer - The House of Representatives.
